October 22 - 24 NYASP Conference 2015

The NYASP 2015 conference will be held at Turning Stone Resort in Verona, N.Y. from October 22 - 24. The theme of the 2015 NYASP conference is Back to the Future: New IDEAS. We will be discussing topics including assessment, intervention, serving a diverse community, social/emotional health and well-being, and ethics/law with an emphasis on changing and emergent trends in each domain. Current workshop topics include a review of the changing trends of classifying and identifying educational disabilities, promoting wellness, and newly released assessments. This conference will also feature a panel discussion on the diagnostic and treatment debate surrounding attention deficit hyperactivity disorder. We are soliciting papers from our membership that would reflect the theme and goals of the conference.

As we are a green organization, we will only accept electronic submissions. Proposed submissions must be received by May 31, 2015. Presenters will be notified of acceptance no later than August 31, 2015. Please note all submissions will be blinded prior to review. For details, visit our proposal site
